Why am I arguing with someone who thinks Simon Kenton has a better football program than Highlands? lol

SK is 39 points better!

Were you the guy who said Carson Williams is the second coming of Larry Bird? lol

Not to referee this verbal sparing, but, I will offer there is no one on the current NKU team that has Carson William's talent, physicality, or heart. He will put butts in those BB&T seats for the next four years.

Also, Bez had a tough sell. His first two classes in the transition to D1 would never compete for an NCAA bid. Who wants to go tons D1 school and not even have the opportunity to get to the big dance?

Exactly. He actually did a great job the first year of D-1. The scandal involving the NKU athletic director (Eaton) affected Bezold's program in many ways people don't understand. He was unfairly fired by a pair of buffoons who have completely alienated the campus and community (see attendance and faculty-staff evaluations). In the end, Bezold looks like the winner.

Yes, he would just bull over Jalen Billups (6-foot-6, 250 pounds of muscle and leaping ability). lol.

How many state titles for Simon Kenton? Crickets.

SK could have just as many if they played in 4A like Highlands used to.

Good thing none of us get to pick the coach.

What was the score of that 1984 game between Highlands and Simon Kenton? Oh, 77-0. And they were both 3A. lol

Impressive physical stats to look at.....but 5.5 rebounds a game tell me more!

When Carson Williams is pulling splinters out of his backside next year at 1.4 rebounds per game, please post his averages for all to see.

I always thought George Baker from Lloyd back in the day would have had better rebounding averages if he had been properly taught to box out.

Bez IMO will be the next coach at Scott. Listerman is not leaving HHS; he is a great coach and better teacher. The boys are buying in and the culture is being set.

This is interesting. Each poster has their own coach they are backing. It is okay to back someone without slamming the other candidates. There are several good candidates and Scott is benefitting from being the only big school opening in NKY.

Great player. Loved the one handed free throws.

I think Bezold is waiting for a small college coaching job.
