If this is just counting seniors I think Fuller and Wilson are the top 2.

Wilson this year. Ohmer next year. Both well deserved.

POY typically comes from teams that have a good record and are contenders which will eliminate some kids mentioned.

Just saying if it's seniors only Maddox has to be in discussions .

This is a nice group of players but if Jackson Crawford of Bishop Brossart is not on the shortlist, then it's a flawed list. I judge on what a kid does for his High School team.

As you may know, Brossart plays the defensive minded schemes with low scoring games and yet Jax Crawford seems to put up very good numbers nearly every game.

Brossart currently sits atop the 10th Region for best record with wins over Campbell County, Holy Cross, and Paris to notch the All "A" trip to Frankfort.

Let's pump the brakes on some of these players stats and ask what have they done for their team?

Jackson Crawford has done an awful lot for Brossart.

If he's not on your list, take another look. You won't be disappointed.

Ummmm I feel like Pig Williams is getting very over looked. He's the best PG Mason Co has had since Jordan Gilbert. He and Caswell Fuller are the best true point guards the region has to offer.

I would have to add Trent McGovney to the list of best true point guards in the 10th. Trent is the leader for the Camels and he makes everyone around him better and he always makes sure everyone is involved in every game.

KABC player of year is seniors only.

Bgp = who, ever we want !

Jackson Crawford at Brossart is having a fantastic season and should be considered.

@Clyde... it is killing me.

Let us in on the secret.

I was just getting ready to post this. Others may have higher scoring %, but as I have stated many times, I don't go by just points. Fuller just makes MoCo go. He is their floor general and does it to perfection. It could be scoring one night , others steals, assists and excellent ball handling.

No I am no homer, he is from our rival school.....:lol2:. I just like the way this young man plays. Very underrated player.

He is by far the best true point guard in the region, watching him play 3 straight days in the Murph Classic and everyday he seemed to get better. He made plays and hit shots when he needed to.

It's more than just the stats to me, it's how you carry yourself but also make your teammates better and I've only seen 2 players in the region do that this season:

Caswell Fuller and Pig Williams, and both of these players are extremely overlooked.

Homer pick I know before anyone calls me out but, Austin Crawford. Kid can do it all. Score, rebound, defense. Averaging 26 and 10 per game. Cant argue those numbers.

A case can be made for Pig Williams, Jake Ohmer, Matt Wilson, and Dante Allen, but none are putting up the numbers Crawford is on a night in night out basis.

My top 5 today would be:

1. Crawford

2. Ohmer

3. Wilson

4. Williams

5. Allen

Homer

He is avg. 13.1 points per game shooting 49.4% from the floor. He is also avg. 7.9 assists per game.
