It's tough to compare Wilson and Crawford. One is clearly the best post player in the region, while the other is the best combo guard in the region. Right now...for me it's too close to call between them.

I would go off of how good a team would be WITHOUT their top player.

 

Based off of that you would have to have, Williams, Wilson, A. Crawford, J. Crawford, and J.Ohmer somewhere in your top five.

 

I've always said that the 10th region produces some high quality players year in and year out. This year being no different.

If the award is player of the year and not a lifetime achievement award, he's Definately in the mix.

If we are just looking at a year achievement award and its for a senior it still would have to be Wilson as favorite I would think. It isn't fashionable to pick the obvious choice but sometimes the obvious choice is the right choice.

 

Not to say Jackson Crawford isn't having a TREMENDOUS year but to imply Wilson is just getting consideration because of past years is erroneous. He has been very good this year too according to the stats on Riherds.
