January 12, 201610 yr PP92. I believe it was that an SEC team wouldn't win the title this year or next correct? :banana: Probably. I haven't been impressed with the quality of SEC play these last couple of years but they made a fool of me this bowl season.
January 12, 201610 yr Fell asleep on this one. Look forward to watching it tonight. Wanted Clemson to win, but Bama and Saban just don't lose these things. They are every bit of a dynasty and more. Hard not to like those guys honestly, unless you just hate them because they are always the best.
January 12, 201610 yr Awesome game, great night. I wish they were all that entertaining. I'd like to watch those two defensive lines play every day. Mrs 2C and I were divided on this one. She followed her SEC allegiance (and I think a crush on Saban) and was strongly pulling for Bama. I was really hoping to see Clemson complete the perfect season. Watson is so much fun to watch and I love Dabo. I hated to see them lose, but they gave it all and came up short and there is no shame in that. Clemson should be scary good next year, but you never know.

January 12, 201610 yr In terms of the Heisman race next year, this is going to be insanely fun to see. Watson back for Clemson, Cook back for FSU, Fournette back for LSU and McCaffery out at Stanford. And as a longshot, given how Louisville plays, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lamar Jackson in the mix. As for the Atlantic Divison, that's gonna be fun to watch too. Clemson returns most everybody, as does FSU (but a new, unproven QB to start) and Louisville. Those 3 all have a legitimate chance to win that division next year.
January 12, 201610 yr It pains me to say it but you have to give Lane Kiffin some credit for some of his calls, in particular that swing pass to the left while backed up in the 4th quarter. He also completely bamboozled Clemson's secondary a few times. I thought Coker might be Bama's Achilles Heel but I was wrong.
