I'd assume every special teams coach in the world is going to teach his players to signal fair catch on these and then run towards the ball to catch it. (He just better not let it hit the ground.)
January 12, 201610 yr Life is easier when you have a great tradition and can recruit players that you want. The NFL is a different game and why would he want the headache? He has been there and failed at it. Stay where he is great (and i don't like Alabama). That's the logical thinking. What we sometimes fail to take into account (Pitino '97) is ego and drive. I doubt it happens but it would not shock me.
January 12, 201610 yr Dude was brutal. There was one block he missed that looked almost like he missed it on purpose. I think I know the play you're referring to. He missed the block so badly that I thought maybe he was going to try to block a linebacker or somebody downfield.

I read somewhere that if Notre Dame used Alabama's counting system that they would have 21 titles instead of the 11 that they claim. For instance, Alabama claims a couple of titles in the 1970's when the national champ was voted on by the wire services before the bowl games, and Alabama lost both their bowl games in those years.
