Clemson fought, scratched and clawed all the way to the absolute end. That last TD drive and effort, heart proved that. Clemson's star CB going out in the 2nd half hurt. Clemson's only weakness at all this season was special teams and imo that's where Alabama Won this game....a blocked Clemson FG, k/o return for TD, perfectly executed On sides kick/ recovery. Alabama is Alabama, they won this game, Clemson didn't lose it. Congrats to the true Bama fans on bgp, the Tide players, coaches deserved the win. IMO both of these teams will be back in the hunt for a playoff bid. Clemson had one of the youngest teams in College football, not only Watson back, practically everyone coming back. One more Shout Out to Our Ol' BGP Buddy ... "Alabama Larry", once again he had the best seat in the house from heaven. Another good NCAA football season in the books ... :thumb:[/quote'] Yessir. January 12, 201610 yr Big plays. Both sides. Special teams meltdowns really decided the game and you hate to see that. Same special teams mistakes nearly cost them the game against Louisville earlier this year. I just don't understand why teams the caliber of these don't have a kickoff specialist that can put it in the end zone every time. Someone like that is worth the scholarship even if they aren't accurate enough to kick field goals. On the kickoff return for a touchdown not only did the kicker kick it short but he compounded the problem by venturing too far down field. He was down to the Bama 30 when the returner started to break free. If he'd been back at midfield lime he should have been the returner would have had to cut back to the middle and wouldn't have scored. He made a tackle in the 1st half and looked to get a little overzealous with his coverage. Little plays like that are what win and lose championships.

Henry is a great RB, football pkayer and is a class young man, Henry is not "Undeserving" of the Heisman, he had a great year. Aa for me I thought that Clemson's D. Watson should have won the Heisman. Watson went over 4,000 yds. in passing tonight and whatever he gained on the ground added to an already 1,000 yds. plus for the season. Again, jmo and not saying Henry "didn't" deserve it, just that imo Watson was more deserving.

January 12, 201610 yr Clemson should be the heavy favorite to win it all next year and I hope they do. Should be an interesting season in the Atlantic Division next year. Louisville has been within three points of beating Clemson the last two seasons and Dalvin Cook is back for another season at FSU.
