August 25, 201610 yr This was a slog of endurance. I had high hopes because it is an interesting era of history to me, but the writing couldn't not have been more boring.
August 30, 201610 yr I was in Richmond yesterday and I always like to stop by Hastings Bookstore to kill some time and browse. I was disappointed to learn that they had filed bankruptcy in June and everything is on sale for 40 to 60% off the original price. They have to be out of the building by October. I bought 7 books for $30. If any BGPers live close to Richmond it would be worth your time to visit the store for some great bargains. I hate to see them close because as far as I know it's the only bookstore in Richmond. I'm in Richmond fairly often because it's only about an hour drive from Booneville.
August 31, 201610 yr Just about to finish "The Poisoned Crown" which is book three in the "Accursed King" series. These are fantastic works of historical fiction and I'm probably going to burn through the whole series.
September 4, 201610 yr Have not been keeping up with this thread as I just don't have time to read right now. I am looking forward to the next Harlan Coben book that's coming out soon.
