September 8, 201610 yr I was in Richmond yesterday and I always like to stop by Hastings Bookstore to kill some time and browse. I was disappointed to learn that they had filed bankruptcy in June and everything is on sale for 40 to 60% off the original price. They have to be out of the building by October. I bought 7 books for $30. If any BGPers live close to Richmond it would be worth your time to visit the store for some great bargains. I hate to see them close because as far as I know it's the only bookstore in Richmond. I'm in Richmond fairly often because it's only about an hour drive from Booneville. Hastings wasn't my favorite bookstore, but I did like going there. I went a couple weeks ago and bought five books for cheap, too. I hate to see it go.

September 15, 201610 yr Thoughts? I really liked it. I'm a little under 200 pages into it now. I'll have some more thoughts when it's done but so far I'm really enjoying it.
