There's a video of Rick Pitino flipping UK fans off after the game. Pitino also refused to do postgame press conference. He sent out Ralph Willard instead.

When was the last time Pitino did a press conference at Rupp...

They've shot 29% on the year. To pretend that UK's shooting behind the arc wasn't the difference in the game is just wrong, IMO.

UL didn't play as well as they could have for a couple stretches, but if UK doesn't shoot out of their mind, UL probably comes away with a victory. Part of that is Pitino staying in the zone when he shouldn't have. The other part is Ulis making ridiculous shots. If a team is going to drain them five feet behind the arc, then so be it. It's just not your day.

Last 18 minutes didn't matter anyway. :walk:

Did they?

Ulis has to be UK fans' favorite player. Kid can ball.

Freaking Hawkins... Dude won't score in double figures the rest of the season! Ulis as expected came out of his shooting slump against us and we all knew UofL stating center would pick up two early bone head fouls. Don't want to hear any excuses about the calls we blew it. I thought CRP called a good game and had us ready for the upset but that last set was not really good. Wish LEE would have got the ball first after the time out and get to the top of the key area where he would have some options.

When the Cats got the shot clock violation at the end, bad vibes from the Wisconsin game was trying to filter in. I was glad the outcome was different.

If Skal's put back goes in, its #1 Sportscenter.

Cals feeling himself in the post game show, he is doing Wally Pip references.

Murray's dunk attempt would've been close.

Today is the 3rd time this season that the Cats have shot over 45% from 3. They had some bad games but it's not like this team doesn't have any shooters.

Both teams were without one of their top players. Which team did it effect the most?

Last two possessions were brutal and Murray was about as bad as you can be. Hawkins shot the ball better than I thought he could. Alex was killing them in the first half and did not see the ball in the second half. Also, free throw shooting was terrible as all of Cals teams are.

Rick Pitino used his middle finger to show a fan how many times he's beaten John Calipari at Kentucky.

Great effort today by the Wildcats (UL too for that matter). D, Hawkins really came up big, there is something to b said about an in state KY. kid that grew up in this rivalry. T. Ulis was as usual, the best pg in America and he certainly showed it again today. His shooting along with running the show was critical. J. Murray stepped up for some big shots in the 2nd half after being held in check by the Cards D in the first half. Lee really contributed a lot of positive play for U.K. as well. Poythress gave some needed physical play today. Overall this was a good team effort by U.K...with the exception of the last couple of possessions where I wanted to reach through the screen and choke a couple of Wildcats :irked:. UK had four players in double figures as well, that showed more team play, finding the open guy and distributing the ball.

U.L. without their Lee kid wouldn't had been in this game at all imo. I knew that Pitino would have his kids ready to play and am glad that my U.L. by 8 call was wrong. Also, about Rick's comments on officiating at the half, as NFL hall of famer C. Carter says...... C'mon man. R Pitno is too good of a coach for that. Hey lil' Ricky - do you want some cheese to go with your "whine" ? :sarcastic: , you're better than that. Losing to Kentucky, Cal is eating him alive. Bottom Line is that since Cal got to Lexington .... Cal / U.K. owns Pitino / U.L..

Great WIN heading into conference play next Saturday.
