December 27, 201510 yr Did the betting line end at UK -2.5? The officials looked as if they conferred on the last play of the game and maybe were discussing whether to call a foul on UL but of course they did not. I imagine many bettors wished they'd had. Spread was -2, I gave a buddy an extra point. Hoped they would shoot the throws.
December 27, 201510 yr I feel like Louisville would win 6/10 if these two teams played that many times right now. Kentucky was definitely saved by the three point shooting today, and the fact that Ulis was the best player on the floor. But for the most part, outside of the first few minutes of each half and end of the first half, Louisville was demonstrably better. Still, I'll take the W.... The three point line did save UK but I think Briscoe could do some good things vs the zone.
December 27, 201510 yr How awesome was it to see 4 Ky Boys on the hardwood today. Very fun to watch..
December 27, 201510 yr The fact of the matter that Pitino is even reacting to something being said from a Spectator is weak. Wait til Mike & Mike get ahold of it. Not saying they are the end all be all, but I think they will have a field day with him. And to think Cal begged & pleaded the Fans to stay classy and now we are talking about something Sticky Rick did. You never let the opposing fans/team dictate your professionalism. Is he wouldn't have skipped the post game press conference then maybe he gets a free pass here, but something tells me that there was something else. Something tells me he knew he messed up and should of just kept walking.....
December 27, 201510 yr Is the postgame press conference mandatory for head coaches? I can't imagine they are. He rarely attends road press conferences. If he talks at all, he appears in front of the locker room. My guess would be that the last time he did a press conference at Rupp, he was coaching the home team.
December 27, 201510 yr Still struggling to understand why the second best player on the floor for Louisville -- Donovan Mitchell -- sat on the bench while Louisville's starting five completely imploded during the final five minutes of the first half. Really frustrating. Those minutes really decided the game.
December 27, 201510 yr How awesome was it to see 4 Ky Boys on the hardwood today. Very fun to watch.. It does make it a lot of fun to watch!! The Cards' Ray Spalding (Trinity) & Q Snider (Ballard) are from Louisville – who from UK are from KY? (PS nice avatar)

December 27, 201510 yr Maybe. People have to realize that people can still get better without having to be in college. Even if he does go pro and is in the d league right away, he can still improve and get more physical. That would be his job and only thing to worry about, no classes or stuff like that. He probably would get a log stronger physically next year being in the d league than he would coming back to college. Very few guys truly improve in the NBA. Most are role players that get pigeoned into that role and they stay there. Some do eventually break out, such as Jermaine O'Neal but most are what they are. The biggest improvements come from guys that show star potential and are given a long leash to improve on. Steph Curry, Kawhai Leonard, Harden, Paul George. But the thing is, those guys could all really play from day one. Skal can't. I don't think he takes the Whiteside route, that's rare, unprecedented territory. Now if he gets picked really high a team might develop him, but look at Bennett. Heck look at Darko. The NBA is not a league to learn in. You either have it or you don't. Used to be they'd give high schoolers more time but since those days have past, Skal has to be ready to contribute something from the jump or he'll never catch up. JMO.
December 27, 201510 yr Little ricky was throwing up the 1 finger to remind UK fans he does have 1 win Vs Cal. He was highlighting his 1-8 record .
December 27, 201510 yr I've read this a lot but UK won this game with one of their best players out and their best player having his worst game. Louisville was also without a starter, and Trey Lewis had a terrible game. We can do that all day.
December 27, 201510 yr Some of you all need to work on your jabs at UofL... Talk about lame and unoriginal. :lol2:
December 27, 201510 yr Louisville was also without a starter, and Trey Lewis had a terrible game. We can do that all day. Actually we can't because UK won this game and all but one since Cal has arrived against little brother. That's why l laughed when someone said Cards would win 6 out of 10. Pitino couldn't beat Cal 6 out of 10 in anything . If they played spades , flipped a coin , or darts it doesn't matter Cal when's 8 out of 9. Why? Because Cal owns a little spot in Ricky P's brain.

Or because Cal has had a roster full of NBA players since he got to UK... He SHOULD be beating Louisville with that kind of talent, along with everyone else. But whatever makes you guys feel better.
