Big Slick Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Awful loss! Double digit favorite at home on Monday Night Football.
John Anthony Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Did Watt call him "The Red Ryder BB gun." LOL
spindoc Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Offense heading the wrong direction down the stretch.
hrcarrier Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 The receivers were horrific tonight. Regardless, this loss has to be concerning even with what they have done. I expected them to lose a few, but not this one.
NEERFAN Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Zona will work them. How can a team not be able to beat the opposition when led by Hoyer or Yates?
CCHDynasty Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I never expected the Bengals to go 8-1 this season. Atrocious game by the offense but its not like the Seahawks are any better. It's one game so far and there's an almost guaranteed bye. Things are still good so far despite that game.
D-Rob Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I'll try to look at the positive, at least we are 8-1. Still can't trust this team in a primetime situation.
TheFauxTiger Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Zero attempt to establish a run. Absolutely terrible game plan offensively, this one goes on the coaching staff. Dalton was not good, but had several drops and when the D knows you aren't going run its easy. Sorry, Hugh takes the hit here
Randy Parker Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 Did Watt call him "The Red Ryder BB gun." LOL J.J. and I go way back.
Voice of Reason Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Hue's game plan and play calling tonight were not good. Dalton was off a little. Eifert dropped 3 passes that all were needed plays. Jeremy Hill can no longer be the starting RB. Gio starts and Hills spells him. Bengals got beat by a team that is now tied for first in their division.
letabrotherspeak Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Texas d-line dominated Bengals o-line. Ballgame. Texans played two safeties high and you have to be able to run the ball. Bengals couldn't establish the run and partly they struggled because they got behind the chains on second down due to penalties and misses on throws. Eifert had three big drops. Green is still soft. Andy wasn't all that sharp, but he is not at fault. Bengals defense was good. Offensive play calling was too cute in the first half. Reverse call inside the 20 was dumb. Second half they could never get field position. Its the NFL...games like this happen except to the Patriots. I fully expect them to play way better in Arizona Sunday Night.
Voice of Reason Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I agree the key to this loss is failure to run the ball effectively and a big part of that is on Hue for not going to the run more with Gio. Yes, games like this happen to the Patriots also. It happened yesterday. The difference is Brady and his WR made the plays at the end they needed to win and Dalton and his WR did not.
