Going to a barber for me would be like someone with one tooth coming to me. What's the point?

When I had good clippers either my wife or I did it...otherwise barber.

 

Need to get a set of Good clippers...probably going to the pet department next time for clippers. They are heavy duty and cheaper than regular ones.

Finally, a thread to vent my struggles on.... I prefer the barber, they are good with the clippers and straight razor, at times i go to Great Clips, it annoys me because you never know what you are going to get.

 

I have been trying to get Mrs. BB to cut my hair with the Wahl clippers we own for several years...she refuses.

If I had hair, I'd do this:

 

Never been in a barber's chair in my life. My mom cut my hair when I was younger, and I've cut my own hair since I was 15 or so with plain old Wahl clippers. Don't do a half-bad job, if I say so myself.

I've been mostly doing it myself for over a decade now. I use either a #1 or #2 attachment on a pair of clippers. Unless it's my brothers wedding day, which is when I forget to put an attachment on the clippers and completely buzzed my entire head.

I use a Mach 3 razor and shave my head daily as slick as a ground hog's den. I've got a certain route I use everytime, like I do when I mow the lawn. Usually takes about 5 minutes.

I checked DIY but actually the wife does it. Shears with no attachment. Nice and simple.
