O'Bryan is just as good of a LB as Kash Daniel.

With all due respect...no way.

I know there's a Hudl sideline thing, but I'm pretty sure it's legal (otherwise the refs would have noticed)

There is also a system out there where you basically you buy some equipment that allows you to create a secure network that you can connect computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. You can then use a camera connected to a computer or even an iPhone to record the game, and you can instantly review previous plays on any device that has the app and has been connected to the secure network. If you've already got iPads all you need is the network equipment and the free app and you're set. And it's much less expensive than you think. Much less. In fact it's surprisingly inexpensive. And yes, it's legal (it was legalized 2-3 years ago), and there are other teams using it.

Much closer than I anticipated. Ashland is much improved from last year and lived up to the hype. Baker was just as good as advertised and that long run was a thing of beauty. Even though JC lost in nearly every statistical category, they were still able to secure the win. It was nice to see JC come out on top with their backs against the wall. If these 2 were to meet up again it would be in the friendly confines of Eagle Field. Let's all hope in 4 weeks, we get the rematch. Easily one of the best games I've seen in years.

As good as Ashland can play. JC wins the rematch going away.

They fumbled the first play from the line of scrimmage. Had numerous fumble opportunities (that JC recovered) that were play killers. Threw a horrible interception and had another interception dropped.

Johnson Central played about as poor as they have all season and won. That is laying an egg. I would not count on those breaks if I were Ashland in the rematch.

Now don't get me wrong Ashland is more than capable of beating JC if round 2 comes along. Anytime you have Baker you have a chance to big play yourself to a win, but Ashland got a lot of breaks tonight (How many delay of game penalties because Workman did not know the play clock? In the JC offense those are killers) and still came up short.

GREAT EFFORT by the Tomcats, but this may have been the best opportunity to get JC and they let it slip away.

The first fumble was CAUSED by a great hit. The interception was on 3&12 and it was 30 yards downfield. Ashland had several false starts and their fullback went the wrong way on a crucial 4th and 2. Plus, they stalled out two times in the red zone. Maybe they laid the egg?

Excellent story on the game. It was a war. If those two teams play defense like they did last night in the playoffs, one of them will be bringing home a state championship.

As good as Ashland can play? You know this how?

If you watch warm ups Dowdy when standing still throws a decent ball. Problem with that is they roll him left and right and every throw is on the run. IMO if they would let him stand in the pocket and throw it they would have better success.

Dowdy took some huge hits in that game. I thought his ribs might be broke at one point, but he came back in a had some nice runs under extreme distress. Hats off to that kid. Both teams showed heart and toughness. Last night was one of the hardest hitting games I have seen in a while.

The more I think about it, #2 for Ashland was the best player on the field. He ran down a very very fast Bryce Workman numerous times and stuffed some really strong kids in the trenches. I was very impressed with that young man and the Ashland defense as a whole.

I'm not a fan of either team but this was one heck of a game! I admit ashland shocked me I honestly thought jc would win by 2 td's or more. Hats off to ashland and that d! Honestly the difference maker wAs probably the pack kid for jc. That's a big time leg!

Sounds like both are not very good that's using fans of both teams words kinda funny !

Yup, they're both terrible. If either of them can make it to Bowling Green they won't have a chance against whoever comes out of the West. :)
