I wish they would schedule an Ohio school or two. Even in a down year, most Ohio programs would present a significant challenge. I also believe a loss or two in the out of district season increases focus and attention in practice.

 

lol yeah maybe Moeller, Colrain or Elder would be a more suitable matchup for the Pioneers... Ha keep it in Ky Neers, you don't want to pop your bubble mid season, that's what SK playoffs are for.

WOW, very defensive about the playing teams out of state to help there national ranking I see. You got my point, I think. As far as the locker room thing with Warner, there isn't another NKY coach who would have been happy with what Dale did either. BTW Ryle did beat your beloved Bluebirds during that run as well, and that's the REAL reason Highlands didn't want to renew the contract, welcome to the reality that is Highlands football right now, and a program on the way down, enjoy the ride!

The reality is that Highlands football might well being playing further into the season than your beloved Raiders correct? possible? So enjoy the win, which at the end of the day means absolutely nothing now does it? Except for you to get on here and gloat.

man I cant imagine how terrible all the Cooper, Ryle, and SK fans would be if they ever had as much success as Highlands. They beat Highlands one year in their worst season in 100 years and are far drunker from it than any Highlands fan has ever been in that whole chain of 7 state championships in a row, beating Elder and Cin St X and all that. its kinda pathetic.

All good things usually come to an end. FTH has had a run just about any other fan base would die for. Better get them this year maybe next I'm sure they get the players needed to right the ship and go back to their running clock ways. Guessing the the FTH fans and players don't like the taste of getting their own medicine feed to them this season though.

Interesting. I would put you closer to the program than even coaches in the NKY area yet you were one who predicted a HHS win over Cooper by a lot. So when someone as close to the team as you doesn't even know that they would be down this bad now says looking back that everyone else should have known makes it seem a little absurd.

Usually coaches are more concerned about what they have on their team and what they will do with the talent returning than being concerned what a team across town that isn't even in their district is going to be like.

The NOW is Highlands focus on district and making a playoff run. Oh no you don't, for years, Mueller wanted for Highlands to be a top 25 NATIONAL Team, so they played teams from Florida, Penn. Ohio, etc. now that Highlands is down it want's to play the card of travel distance? That's embarrassing to each poster on these boards. The bottom line is, Mueller retired because he knew he had nothing coming up or in the pipe line, and wanted to go out on top. Again this ain't rocket science.
