"When We Left Earth" - a history of the the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions, with a bit of space shuttle and space station thrown in. My astronomy students absolutely love it every year.

Of late I've watched:

Welcome to Leith - Town of about 70 in rural North Dakota that a white supremacist attempts to overtake said town. Just happened a few years ago. Crazy.

Last Man on the Moon - Profile of Eugene Cernan. Some awesome footage from the Apollo missions.

The Resurection of Jake the Snake - Needless to say Jake the Snake fell on hard times after his wrestling career. Diamond Dallas Page attempts to save his life. About half an hour in to this one.

I just watched this yesterday...I really enjoyed and have an entirety new level of respect for DDP.

DDP is great. I remember seeing him about 10 years ago promoting his yoga program and targeting the crowd that is in need of some basic conditioning. Gives me some faith in humanity to see the passion he has.

How about Scott Hall? Good gosh, the guy could hardly walk.

I hope Jake is able to keep it together. Demons such as that can haunt people forever.

Looks like he turned Scott Hall's life completely around too, not to mention the random people he had living in that house helping also.

I want to give someone a Diamond Cutter just to Honor DDP today!

Watching a 6-part Docu-Series on the Investigation Discovery Channel called "The Vanishing Women." It's about a group of six women who disappeared in Chillicothe, Ohio over the last couple of years. Interesting, but very sad story.

Twisted blanking sister, on Netflix is pretty cool. I don't care for them but it's hard not to like a film about partying and rock n roll

I watched Atari: Game Over this morning on Showtime. If you were an Atari fan, it was really interesting. It was about Atari's star engineer who designed ET and gets blamed for the fall of Atari. They follow a dig at a landfill where supposedly millions of the ET games were dumped.

The 70's - Netflix

The 80's - Not yet on Netflix

Anyone frequent Viceland? They have great mini documentaries.

Harlan County USA

Hearts Of Darkness

The US vs John Lennon

Harlan County USA is a great one. Filmed around 1976 during the coal miner union strife in Harlan County. It won the Academy Award Oscar for Best Documentary.

Fans of documentaries should check the series "Documentary Now" on netflix.

Oh yeah! "Juan Dreams of Chicken & Rice" was absolute genius.
