Sirius - The Earth has been visited by advanced Inter-Stellar Civilizations that can travel through other dimensions faster than the speed of light. They use energy propulsion systems that can bring us to a new era. Humans have also developed these systems but those in power have suppressed them in order to keep us at the mercy of fossil fuels. It is time for you to know…and this documentary will let you in.

"Battered Bastards of Baseball" is worth watching. About an Independent Pro team in the early 70's owned by Kurt Russell's dad.

If you have Netflix check out "Tig."

It's about a year with comedian Tig Notaro. In that year she had a serious disease, her mom died, she went through a breakup, was diagnosed with breast cancer, lost both breasts, and THEN tried to have a child.

Interesting from her comedic style as well as from a human interest story.

"Moon Machines"

Each episode is about a different piece of equipment: space suit, lunar rover, lunar excursion module (LEM), Saturn V rocket, etc.

Is it more than her stand up performance from that year Louis CK released? I passed over it thinking it was her just act.

Good call. Forgot about that one.

Hardly any of that act is in it.

20 Feet From Stsrdom, very solid and a must for music lovers.

Recently watched "The Other One: The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weir" on Netflix. Pretty cool if you are a fan of the Grateful Dead.

Also watched "Hot Girls Wanted" on Netflix. Depressing. Not that great.

Finished that last night. Yea, depressing.

Recently watched "No-No: A Dockumentary" about Dock Ellis, he of the no-hitter while tripping on acid. Great stuff.

I watched that. Dock was crazy.

I watched "Happy Valley" on Netflix this evening. It's a 2013 documentary about the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse case and the resulting scandal for Penn State and Joe Paterno. Good documentary, I thought. I was fairly impressed by the "true documentary" fashion I felt they used to handle the fallout surrounding Paterno. They didn't really seem to take a side, and just "documented" that aspect.

I watched Imposter on Netflix last night. Interesting at times but kind of drug on and really seemed to lead the viewer on to something that wasn't quite there. Mild recommendation from me.
