Courier Journal Preseason Top 25
openlook replied to PurplePride92's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Scott Co. may be overrated. I'm hearing they've pushed aside much of the upper classmen in favor of a youth movement. They're underclassmen are still pretty talented. -
Is turnover like this typical? If not, is there a specific cause?

Anyone notice the starting Safety for MSU was a freshman from Scott Co., Grayson Miller. Grayson Miller makes unlikely rise from unknown prospect to freshman starter for Michigan State | MLive.com

He was the third player to transfer since the summer..I think I read that correctly. Sounds like it could've been a problem with the coach.

Put Kendrick Hamilton from Scott Co. on your radar. Young man is extremely athletic and can cover a lot of ground at linebacker. Plus, he's just a junior. -

I must've missed something. I don't see anything about the annual attempted transfers into Scott Co. Who's on this list? -

Looks to be very talented. Highlights against Eminence and Walton doesn't necessarily help though. Wonder what recruiting would be like for him if he attended HS in Louisville or Lexington? -
"The Box", is that the movie in which a person is awarded $1M; however if they accept it, then someone they don't know and will never meet must die?

I think you're probably right, although, I think he'll end up being better than Hawkins. -

Saw Hawkins play over the summer. You're right, he can shoot and is a very good player. Will likely end up being one of the better players in the entire region. I cannot remember the last guard his size in the 8th region. -

I'm sure there are some, but how many 6'6" guards are there in the state? -
This may have already been said but the worst jerk of them all could be Laettner's older brother. Sounds like he bullied Christian throughout his childhood.

Just heard "No Diggity" by Blackstreet (mid 90's maybe) the other day and now it's stuck in my head. -
The sticking point for me is referring to the individuals committing atrocities in the name of Christianity as Christians. True followers of Jesus strive to live a life that emulates Jesus. I cannot recall NT passage that advocates murder and rape. You can argue those committing these crimes are not truly born again Christians.
