April 7, 201511 yr Congrats to PP92 and all Dukies. K gets the most out of his players, especially in F4.
April 7, 201511 yr I thought there were some tired legs for Wisconsin tonight. How many shots did you see missing short tonight? I thought there were many more than you'd see missing long. Playing in the West with some long travel for each step, having a tough Elite Eight opponent in Arizona, tough game with Kentucky in the Final Four, that caught up to them. Amile Jefferson's defense and Grayson Allen's offense carried Duke. Okafor made some big plays late to seal it. Congrats to @PurplePride92 and @GrizzlyAdams. Enjoy your Natty guys.
April 7, 201511 yr I'm happy to see the team that probably relied on "One & Dones" more than any other bring home the title if my Wildcats can't. People that hate on "One & Dones" at UK need to open their eyes and see that UK just did it with three of them in their starting lineup. Great team and fun to watch throughout the year, especially tonight.
April 7, 201511 yr Congratulations to the Blue Devils! Good ballgame. The Jones kid was tough down the stretch. One irritant.....if you are going to slow a game down and use instant replay, for God sake get the call right. Who knows if it affects the outcome of the game, but what is so hard about using the same shot CBS had. Pitiful. That was only 1 of anout a dozen blown calls so at least the officials kept it par for the course.
April 7, 201511 yr Congrats to PP92 and whoever else likes Duke. This has nothing to do with Duke but...the NCAA really needs to evaluate the process of officiating. Game after game after game is being altered by bad calls or missed calls down the stretch. I've noticed it all season at all levels. There has to be more training or something to lower the number of errors. Basketball it too great of a sport to have it weakened by poor officiating.
April 7, 201511 yr Key to the win for Duke ... 16-20 at the foul line. Outscored the supposedly non-fouling Badgers by 10 at the foul line. Wisconsin had the same number of fouls called on them in the second half as Duke had in the entire game.
April 7, 201511 yr Coach K now alone in second for national titles as a HC with 5. He trails only John Wooden.
April 7, 201511 yr Dekker 0-6 on 3's in the game. The magic finally ran out. A shame it ran out one game too late.
April 7, 201511 yr I'm not sure what happened at halftime, but the game was called totally different in the second half. Some of the missed calls were head scratchers. That being said, Jones and Allen stepped up big for the Devils.
April 7, 201511 yr Freshmen for Duke had 60 of their 68 points tonight. But "One & Done" is bad for college bball.
April 7, 201511 yr Dekker 0-6 on 3's in the game. I was talking to a couple Wisconsin fans Friday and I told them I thought Dekker was the best player for them through the tourney and they laughed. They said he is so streaky. He disappears for games at a time. They said he is flaky and they weren't big fans of him. They know him because he is a local kid back in WI and they said he was no where the entire season and then started hearing his draft stock was dropping so he decided to play hard finally at the tourney. So his game tonight didn't surprise them I bet.
April 7, 201511 yr Key to the win for Duke ... 16-20 at the foul line. Outscored the supposedly non-fouling Badgers by 10 at the foul line. Wisconsin had the same number of fouls called on them in the second half as Duke had in the entire game. They were making up for some of the missed foul calls in the last Wisconsin game.:sssh:
