My biggest thing with instances like this: if this is how people at the State's flagship university act, then what does that say about the rest of the State in general?

 

Sometimes, nothing, and these things are isolated incidents. Other times, yea... probably indicative of a culture.

Proud to have been in a fraternity at NKU that had several African Americans, Asians, Indians, Hispanics, Handicapped and etc. Now that I've graduated, the "minorities" make up an even bigger percentage.

 

I'd imagine that its just a stupid song that was passed down from past generations, but it doesn't make it funny or okay.

That's up to the school. You can say or do whatever you want, but you have to be willing to take the consequences. People get kicked out of school all the time, and most schools do have some sort of code of conduct that you have to adhere to.

SAE should never be allowed on that campus ever again. Similarly, if those students aren't kicked out of school, they shouldn't be allowed to join another fraternity.

Very true. Definitely a slippery slope. I'm going to say not kicked out. They will probably leave on their own anyway though.
