School administrators lie to kids, parents, the public every day. Nothing new, some of it is par for the course.

 

It is what it is, have to react to it.

No. Not at all. I just think it will be a tough sell to the community and could change if there is enough backlash. It would be interesting to know the percentage of kids in the school that are involved in athletics or marching band.

Seems like administrators in lots of schools have lost focus of what's most important. Instead, it's all about achieving their agenda.

 

Many don't have a flipping clue for the most part. For starters, look at the years some of these admin have in the classroom. Tons out there with 10 or less before they got in the admin ranks. Most get into admin bc they flat out can't stand being in the classroom in the first place.

Kenton County went to academies, so each school has separate focus points.

Earning a PE Credit in front of a computer just doesn't feel right.

At least their fingers will be in shape to open that 2litre and bag of chips.

What an intriguing scenario. You will lose in school weights (if you had them) but you may end up getting more kids out because they have to play a sport as an option to obtain a PE credit.

I thought Obama's wife wanted school kids eating right and excersing.

I really don't understand how schools operate any more. Physical education from the Internet??? That really makes sense. I sincerely hope this doesn't become the trend with many other schools following.

No they can just do it on line which is ridiculous but never the less was stated in a previous post. IF this is true this is not a good way to go.

So how big is that addition to Newport High School. I mean, Newport isn't bringing in new families to warrant a new addition are they? Or is that free State money? So maybe it's in the works? Any inside info there???

I think it will be a hard pill to swallow for many of the Newport/Dayton/Bellevue Alumni and current enrollment but consolidation would actually be good IMO.

What would be interesting if that happens is what would happen to Ludlow in 1A. If those schools combine, and with Beechwood probably almost being a guarantee to be 2A with how their enrollment has gone up by the next realignment in 4 years. That would leave only Ludlow in 1A from the current district. I guess they would join the Brossart, Bracken County district if that happened.
