January 20, 201511 yr Who is the one player that you wish you could go back and watch that you never got to see play because their career was before your time? After listening to my dad, I think I'd have to go with Pistol Pete Maravich or maybe Oscar Robertson. Dad doesn't give much praise to ball players that weren't affiliated with Kentucky basketball, but these two are definitely his exceptions.
January 20, 201511 yr Elgin Baylor. Seen video/films but would love to have seen him in person. Same with Bill Russell vs Wilt in the mid to late 60's.

January 20, 201511 yr Never got to see Jordan play in person. Even the year I went to the all star game, he was too busy with baseball.
January 20, 201511 yr I'd like to have seen Wilt play. He put up just crazy numbers and it would be interesting to watch him when he decided to lead the league in assists.
January 20, 201511 yr Young Wilt. Don't remember ever watching the NBA on TV until the late 60's or early 70's and it wasn't on often. I guess it was once a week but I'm not even sure about that.
