After seeing Oregon's last two games I had picked them to crush whoever won the other playoff game. I haven't seen anything to change that opinion too much. I think Oregon will win but I do think OSU can give them a game. I will probably only be able to watch until early in the third quarter so I expect it will still be anybody's game at that point, at least I hope so. If the OSU quarterback has the jitters and gets off to a slow start that could spell trouble with how quickly Oregon can rack up the points.

I'm rooting for the kind of shootout that most of you are predicting. I think the key to the game will be Oregon's ability to stop the run. If they make OSU one-dimensional I think it is a Quack-fest. If OSU can stay balanced and Ezekiel can be as effective has he has been lately, it will keep me up past my bedtime. Oregon is very good against the run, so, to me, that is the key.

 

Mariota will get his, to be sure, and he is far more than just "an upgrade over Sims".

I do believe how Oregon does against Ezekiel and the Buckeyes rushing offense is the key, but I would hesitate to call 66th in the nation against the run as being "very good against the run. " They allowed almost 7 yards per carry to Cook in the Rose Bowl.

I just want to be entertained - but honestly I think Oregon by a couple of scores.

Want to see how Oregon does against the OSU Dline, OSU Dline owned them in 2009 and this Dljne is much better.

I have went with the Buckeyes so far and don't see any reason to stop now. I think that last week proved just how good this team can be. Urban Meyer may be having his best coaching year this season.

Oregon, of course is no slouch and they deserve to be here as well, are very talented with imo the qb in the country.

One factor that in jmo will help OSU is prep / practice time. OSU is out of school this week....meaning no practice time limits, etc.. Oregon is back, their players are having to get up, go to class and everything that goes along with that plus since they are back in classes the limited practice time is in place. I don't know how much this will effect either team or give any advantage or not.

I don't know what the highest scoring championship game has been but this one imo will be right up there.

Most amazing part is Urban has done this all without top 10 pick Noah Spence and DE and done most of it without Dontre Wilson, the fastest player on the team who will be back for the NC. Oh and the whole QB thing.
