Actually I think it's only about 2 more per game. The question is how fast Oregon goes between plays. I think they're under 15 seconds when they're running their up tempo while OSU is about ten seconds more. Has OSU faced anyone with that type of tempo this year? If so they should be ok. No polished versions of an up-tempo offense.

 

Urban is friends with Chip Kelly, he went to Oregon during his coaching break and watched them practice. He totally bought into it although he didn't like it, that's why he hired Tom Herman a guy who could run the same tempo of Oregon, or at least close to it.

I want Ohio State to win because they are my fav college team but I don't think they stand a chance against Oregon. If they weren't on their 3rd string QB I may give the Bucks the edge but I just don't think he's good enough to carry the Buckeyes. I will however enjoy #13 getting camera time on the sidelines for Ohio State lol

I think he's good enough, just a matter of if he gets the jitters and how long they might last. Saw a blurb today where he said he can throw the ball 80-85 yards. Teammates said he throws 60 plus from a knee. Strong.

I don't think too many people gave Ohio State a snowballs chance in you know where against Alabama and they pulled it out. Yes Oregon has a great offense, and is a heck of a team, but Ohio State has played through so much adversity with injuries, a death of a teammate, and they just keep getting stronger. They just seem to be a team that no matter what is throw at them they find a way to win. Love or hate Urban Meyer this guy can flat out coach and some how he finds a way to beat the Ducks. This one is going to be a shoot out. 49 to 45 Buckeyes on a last minute touchdown.
