After thinking some about all of the high scoring predictions, I remember that the same was being said a few years ago about the Auburn / Oregon championship game. That one ended up 22-19 I believe.

OSU defense cannot get mixed up in all of the Ducks motion, bells and whistles and just play solid defense. IMO the key will be, as most games anywhere are, won or lost on the line play. Should OSU's "D" line be able to get in the Oregon backfield and stop that offense before it starts then the Bucks will be fine. Also, should the OSU "O" line play as they were playing vs.Wisconsin and Bama then they can control the game, keep Oregon / Marioto off the field as much.

I picked the Buckeyes earlier with both teams scoring in the 40's. I am toning that down some and will say ....

Bucks 34

Ducks 29

Article on CNN said the first time there was a college basketball national championship game in 1939? Oregon beat OSU 46-33. Kind of neat.

A similar score is possible tonight.

Oregon has the 102nd ranked defense in the country. To think they are going to hold the Buckeyes under 30 is IMO not very realistic, especially considering how fast the Ducks score. FSU ran up and down the field on them, especially running the ball, until the started turning it over. Look for Zeke Elliot to have yet another 200+ yard game. This one has 40+ on both sides written all over it. Having watched both teams a lot, the only mismatch I see is along the OSU dline. While loaded with 3 probable NFL players, there is no depth. They rarely substitute along the line, and just seems by the second half Bosa and company will be spent. A cool night in Dallas would help, but not seen the forecast. Oregon will be the best team OSU has played all year by a long shot, and probably vice versa. Unlike a disappointingly slow and over rated Alabama team ( or insert every SEC team I watched) Ducks can run with Bucks at every position. I see this one playing like the FSU Oregon one, very tight until the fourth quarter.

Oregon 52

OSU 41

You act as if Ohio State crushed Alabama. That game could have gone either way. I don't think Alabama was overrated. But Ohio State was underrated, or a better description would be under appreciated.
