You know highlands#1 may be on to something here...especially since the Birds will be so terrible next year. The incoming seniors only accounted for at least 19 points in the Championship game and Kendell was an big part of the success of the running game all year.

 

Why don't we just scrap the whole program. We could alternate the FTJFL teams each week. Shoot maybe we could scrimmage T on Saint Paddys day with the Green team ( I guess I couldn't complain about Green socks for that one) .

Being direct is the only way I know how to be sorry. I have never been rude to anyone and as for the abuse well do believe me when I say I can handle it lol .

CCH moved up to get away from Highlands and knowing that Cooper was moving up they wouldn't have to face them, then their entire world came crashing down when they found out HHS moved up also :thumb::banana:

In Cov Cath's case their current enrollment actually lands them in 5A- however since the KHSAA decided to realign the classes based on 4 year avg enrollments vs 2 year enrollments ( as they had done in in previous realignments ) they still landed near the upper portion of 4A. So they just requested to move up to their natural class.

Highlands enrollment landed them squarely in the middle or the bottom third of enrollment numbers in 4A.

Cooper, Conner and Scott then scattered.

I think Highlands and Covcath want to be the the same class. Neither is avoiding each other. I think the rivalry is good for both schools. I know Cooper moved up to avoid both. From what I heard Cooper liked the path to the 6A title game in years when not matched up with Trinity's district a lot more than they like the idea of facing Covcath and Highlands every year and possibly 2x a year some years.

The smallest (HHS 454) and the largest (Dixie 754) enrollments in 5A will be in the same district for the next 4 years. CovCath shows 522.

 

Like Bluedad said, using the four year vs the 2 year average enrollments, Highlands would be a little below the middle and only Johnson Central would be ahead of CovCath in 4A had they not requested to move up to 5A.
