Number may not be way down but people are saying talent and sizes are. So that would mean they will be looking at everyone then if they are up to playing and willing to put forth effort.

I agree but in reading this paper the frosh or jv did not do well at all. So that makes all wonder.Which is why parent's are talking at a local pub. Get some liquid in adults talking football and boy oh boy you hear alot

I'd say those parents are new to the program and haven't seen what it can do for the boy. You won't recognize many of them when August rolls around.

I will say it again. NO FROSH WILL PLAY AT HHS NEXT YEAR. Parents and kids need to worry about playing and earning your stripes before worrying about playing Varsity football.

I think they need to worry about playing. Earning stripes is something officers do not football players. And when you see a frosh out on the field then I will laugh and say hmmmm

So you are saying that a 8th grader(Freshman to be) will be dressing up next year and playing on the Varsity team?

 

If so then you are living in a fantasy land or this incoming Stud doesn't go to Highlands as we speak. Can't wait to meet this kid....

You go ahead and laugh all you want. I know exactly what I am talking about my friend. Why don't you name this superlative frosh to be so that I can make sure that the older kids are sure to introduce themselves to this kid next year when the pads go on.

 

Sounds to me like you are a pot stirrer and nothing more. Obvious by the time you signed up that you do not know of any frosh attending HHS next year let alone any of the kids on the team this year. I will anxiously await you telling us about this great frosh player to be.

I don't think you can ever say never. What are the vitals (height,weight, position, etc.)for this player. Remember, a lot of people didn'tthink this year's team had what it takes to win a state championship, yet look what happened.

Hey everyone else out there. I think people think that this is a Highlands thread because of who started it but it clearly states "Outlook for next year" which means everyone. I'm sure this Highlands#1 fella or feller or even fellie would love to have some other input so they can get out of this thread. Anyone? Bueller? Hello?

There is no current 8th grader at Highlands who will sniff a minute in a varsity game next year, I'm sorry. They will have a very strong Frosh group but Derek Smith or David Bibb aren't walking through that door.

 

If a potential incoming frosh from another school is who you speak of then I would really love to hear who it may be.
