In 6th no one..

Beechwood 6th beat Ludlow again really bad this morning. The top 4 or 5 players didn't even play for Beechwood.

Normally I would be happy to see the Birds playing Twenhofel after they trounced them last week by over 20 and also beat them out at their place by 6. However, beating a team 3 times in one season is very tough to do. If they can get past Twenhofel I like the Birds chances against Holmes. They led Holmes both games at the half and essentially let the Bulldogs take over both games in the 2nd half. With focus and scoring from their guards the Birds can get to the finals of the East Bracket. I predict Campbell Co to come out of the other side.

The 6th grade boys small school division really is playing for 2nd place. Beechwood will win it going away, but depending on where it is played and the brackets, which for some reason nobody will say where and who is playing, will determine 2nd place. Dayton has a very good team and looks to be playing well. Bracken and Newport are winning games down the stretch. Tichenor has a really good big man that is playing very well. Pendleton is very good at home and if they are hosting could finish second.

Heads up on admission prices. Looks they go to $5 and $3 for the post-season games.
