Didn't Beechwood's 8th grade beat Gray? I heard they did.

Beechwood beat them in a holiday tournament, but not in league play.

St. Agnes is not in the West. Only 7 in the West.

Honestly I'm new to RA I knew a little bit about them from when my nephews played against them but they were never any good. I heard from the parents this current 8th grade team won 1 game last year and the same for the 7th.

7th are 9-9 I think

8th are 12-6

Was told they have a good coaching staff and they have made some ball players out of the kids from last year. I believe it after watching them tonight.

Good for them! Is this a new coaching staff in the 8th grade?

St. Agnes is not in the West. Only 7 in the West.

Was posting based on a regular season schedule that HHS played. Was told tonight that the St Agnes game was an additional game and not a league game.

Seeding will be based on 19 games. HMS 7th is now 17-1 in league play.

Conner 6th wins by 30 over Gray 6th tonight, starters played 1/2 the game. This team is totally different than the one Highlands beat earlier in the year. The 6th grade plays a make up game vs Summit View Wednesday at Summit View and then closes the season out vs St Pius who a couple of weeks ago they only allowed to score 2 points through 3 quarters (game was at St Pius too).

Conner 7th with a good win over Gray.

Conner 8th fought hard against Vince and the Gator boys but go home with a L. Vince was unstoppable tonight, he must have had 24-26 points, he looked like he belonged in a different league tonight.

Conner 8th is playing down at KBA next weekend. Also I know Conner 6th will have a team playing at SOAS on Monday nights....would be nice to have Beechwood and the Birds sign up to for this league so they could continue to battle it out the next 10 weeks. This is a 6th, 7th and 8th grade league.

Beechwood 8th beat Gray twice in the Turkeyfoot Holiday Tournament.

Highlands swept Twenhofel in all 3 games.

Birds 8th grade group absolutely dominated the T-Breds in every aspect of the game winning 46-21. Execution and energy level was off the charts. If they play like this they can beat anyone in NKy but they have to play with energy the entire game. Starkey/Macke/Finn/King all played very well for the Birds. Bench was also very good with Tristan Thompson/Grady Cramer and Aubry Posey.

Who are the favorites?

6th. HMS

7th. Birds/Pius/Conner

8th ??

8th Big School- Camp. Co and Gray and then Holmes/Highlands/Woodland

A lot of parity in the 8th Grade division. Birds played Gray close back in early December and I think if they would play again and play like they did last night vs Twenhofel they can win. If they play like they did against Woodland last week they can get destroyed. Its all about who shows up in the Tournament.

Campbell Co might have the best overall talent but knowing they lost to Twenhofel tells me they are vulnerable as well. Woodland is good but seem to be a 2 horse team with the PG/Houston. Conner could also surprise some teams if they are clicking on all cylinders.

It should be a good tournament.

The smaller division in 6th grade still has a week of games scheduled next week. When does that tourney start and anybody know standings besides Beechwood way out in front of anybody else...................................

You're missing IHM and St. Pius. They can play with any of these teams you have listed.
