Any 6th grade updates? It would be nice as mentioned before if the NKMSAA would post scores and locations of these games.

Twenhofel must've hit 10 treys in the 8th grade game vs Highlands. Held off Highlands 49-45. Birds led at the half 27-23 but couldn't score a basket the first 3 min of 2nd half. Alex Starkey tried to carry the Birds on his back hitting consecutive 3's with just under a minute to tie it after being down 6. Twenhofel hit their FT's in the end but they were absolutely on fire from behind the arc tonight. Good Luck to the Thoroughbreds vs Holmes.

 

Kind of an emotional night for my wife and stepson as he played his last game with his friends at HMS and many he played grade school ball with since 2nd grade. Great group of boys at HMS and they will continue to improve.

What do you mean his last game with his friends? Here is another class that seemed to take a few steps backward when they got to the 8th grade. Am I right on this or simply kind of grasping at straws?

He's going to St X next yr in Cincy. They definitely under achieved this year but they have some very nice talent that still has some growing to do. None have truly hit their max and a few are way behind with some nice potential to shoot up.

Enough zone already! When a team shoots like that abandon the zone. I see they run high school sets, but HHS plays little like less than 5% zone. Teach the boys to guard way to many open looks! Get the ball inside Starkey could have had a field day! Twenhofel had no inside game. The Breds were hot but not contested. Last comment was real impressed with twenhofel point guard. Good bunch of kids, sad HMS season ends first or second game I was able to attend this year, so an observation based on what I saw last night nothing more.

I am assuming that he won't live in Ft Thomas but will move somewhere in Ohio. Does his Father live in Ohio?

6th Grade Boys - SPX over Camp Ernst by 3 @ Grant Co. They now have Conner Wednesday - Conner dominated the first two contests - I look for the same Wednesday.

I'm ready to stir the pot.....

 

Take a couple of weaker teams from Large School, trade places in Tourny with a couple stronger teams in the small school.......

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

 

No chance because of the logistics perhaps...........

 

I for one would like to see that, I think that it is two or three small school division teams that could beat any big school division team on any night. 6th thru 8th (respective grade)
