Good Luck to all teams and congrats for making the finals.

As for your post, NKyBFAST, #34 for HMS is Bryson Huddleston. Who is #32 for Summit? He is a competitor.

#32 is Nick Brann.

You can tell these two kids really leave it all out on the floor. I'm told Huddleston also plays for The Shining Stars... Anyone know who else he plays with?

Can someone tell me more about the Salter kid from Highlands?

Didn't seem to be much of a factor, or at least as much of a factor when I saw them last year, but he was pretty good when I saw him this year.

How tall is he exactly? Does he play AAU? Is he a basketball first kid? Seems like a real competitor as well.

Not exact on his height. Close to 6'2? He plays for Skinner's team (I believe that Huddy is playing with them now as well. I know that he played in a couple of games for them) He is a basketball only kid. He is extremely athletic for how tall he is. IF he works on his post moves, he could be really good next year.

Salter & Huddleston both play AAU for NKY Legends. Legends has some of the best players in NKY, and is coached by Chris McGuire and Richard Skinner. In addition to those two, they have Caleb Jefferson from Newport, Paul Kremer from St Marys, Jared Hicks from Conner, Mikhi Miller from Newport, Joey Moser from St Joes, Neil Green from St Agnes, and several of the other top 7th grade players in the area.

He plays for Skinner's team.

Yes. He plays on Skinner's team. Skinner is a great coach. Really knows what he's doing. My son plays for Campbell Middle, but his friend goes to St. Mary's and also plays on this team.

Highlands wins six grade championship, 51–33 over IHM. Hergott, Rom, Vinson all tourney for highlands, Vieth and Bessler for IHM.

Chris and Skinny are both very good coaches. My boys got to practice with them a last year before school tryouts. I enjoyed watching the organization.

Any 7th or 8th grade scores?

Boys 7th grade, SV beats Pius, 44 - 40. Game was tied at 40, and Pius had the ball with 4 secs. Pius was in the stall and Mayer dribbled it off his foot. SV scored, Pius run a set for Mayer and he was called for a travel. SV scored again and that was ball game. It was a good game but it seemed like SV was 8n control most of game. Pius first lead of game at 39 - 37. I think the better team won today.

I meant had the ball with 45secs when they started the stall.

Summit View 7th grade boys defeat St. Pius in the championship game. Great game between 2 really good teams! Congrats to both teams on a great season!

All tournament team for SVMS:

Nick Brann

Evan Dearborn

Jeremy Davis

All tournament for Pius:

AJ Maher

N. Powers

Congrats to Summit View. Correction on the All Tournament team - for SPX - that's Michael Mayer. AJ is a Freshman a t CCH.
