I think the twins are back unless they simply hate college or get some really bad advice. WCS is a tough one. I lean towards him returning. The only two definites are Julius and Young.

Initial reaction for me is that Randle and Young are gone. I have a weird feeling WCS will return and I believe the twins will be back. Cal stays.

Willy seems to be one of those guys that truly enjoys the college life. It is a part of your life that you can never do again, and if you truly enjoy it there's nothing like it.

 

Prior to the injury I felt pretty certain he was coming back for that reason. The injury may convince him to go now for fear of something worse if he doesn't.

I always got the feeling that WCS loved the college life but really hated going to class, but that was last year. I think he stays now though because he really has seemed to mature and I think he found a degree worth pursuing.

The only two definites are Julius and Young.

Here is the big factor on if the twins stay or not and why they may lean to leaving. The incoming freshman class may put a cramp into one of the twins playing time and if that is the case they may feel their draft stock could drop if they don't get the minutes they think they need.

 

If that is the case, last night may have been the last time the twins suit up together.

Twins are both better than Ulis and Booker. Both would fit nicely as back ups for a year...

Randle will be a lottery pick, he's gone. He's not ready, but coming back for his sophomore year will do nothing for him. Might as well go ahead and get paid millions to improve your game.

 

Young actually could improve his draft position by coming back. He always struck me as the type of kid that was leaving after 1 year regardless of his draft stock. Nothing wrong with that. I wish him the best.

 

WCS seems like a different type of dude. A kid who is truly enjoying college and his life style at UK. Seems to love everything about his current situation. I still lean towards him leaving though.

 

The Twins are an odd situation. Can one leave the other one behind ? They also could improve their draft stocks by another year of college ball. I think they return.

 

Dakari needs another year, and if he returns, the kid will be a monster next season. Unless he has to have the money now, he has no business entering the draft.

 

A lot of our fans get upset by the early exits when they feel a kid should stay (Archie Goodwin). I don't look at it that way. If every kid on the roster leaves this season, I'm fine with it. I may not agree with it, but I'm fine with it. If any of these young men feel they are ready to make a living playing basketball, more power to them. I hope they succeed.
