April 9, 201412 yr Was talking to a guy at work today. One thing to consider with the Harrison twins which may have already been mentioned is that once they leave UK they may never play competitive organized ball together on the same team again. That's gotta be hard to walk away from.

Plus, I don't think that their parents seem to be the type that would push them. Where did I say / post that they may not go due to a 2 parent family or were any different than any other college player ? Lazy ? Are you taking about me ? If so, you don't know me at all so how do you come up with that ? Not that I owe you any explanation bc I do not but I say that living with a chronic disease with no cure, wheelchair bound - fight and struggle on a daily basis to do even the most basic, simple things in life is Anything But Lazy ! I live with it every day and I sincerely hope that you are in good health and/or never have to find out what being completely disabled is. April 9, 201412 yr Is that $2.2 mil for each of the two years or $2.2 mil total for the 2 years? Either way, I think that would be tough to turn down. Does the standard NBA contract pay for continued college education? That is a total of 2.2 over 2 years, and a total of 3.2 over the next 2 years. They also get money for their basketball cards and some other stuff. Don't know about the continuing education part for sure, but I've heard they do.
April 9, 201412 yr My stance on people going pro is definitely go if your in the lottery or projected close to it. I'm also fine if they are guaranteed first round. But to leave after one year just to go in the second round is stupid. They could go way higher next year if they played like they did in the tournament.

I don't think there is a wrong decision here. If they both are guaranteed first rounders (not sure that's the case) and can get a guaranteed contract and live their dream then I don't see how that could be a bad decision. On the flip side, they could both mature, get stronger/quicker, fine tune their game, play one more year together, and potentially go as lottery picks. I don't see a bad decision for either and will support them no matter what. If this is the end, it was a great ride I'll never forget. If not, I can't wait to watch them suit up for UK next season.
