Key momentum play, charge on Poythress that would have tied it I believe. All my pessimism proved true. Add the FT problem n it's very much like 97

Congratulations to Kentucky for a great run through the Region of Death for 2014 and into the Championship game. It was a memorable run.

GREAT GAME BY UCONN.

OVER COMING HORRIBLE ONE-SIDE OFFICIATING AND STILL PULLING OUT A EASY WIN:laugh:

You're probably a joy to watch games with.

Heck of a run.

All you haters who claim you're not haters go ahead and talk your crap.

Cats made it to the championship and will hang a final four banner.

How many of you can say that for your team?

11 missed FTs.

Wild ride. Thankful UK gave us the run. Wish they could have finished it but those are the breaks. You had to know when UK fails to capitalize on all those chances to take the lead that they probably didn't have it. UConn was the better team and you can't let the better team off the hook when you have chances.

...and got dominated by UL.

I must have missed their game with UL in the past 6 games...

That charge was awful. Could have been a big play for UK but it happens. Overall didn't think the officiating was bad. Maybe the jumpball was bad too but I could see how they called it.

The NCAA tourney UofL would have been dominated by the NCAA tourney UConn. Peaked at the right time. Makes you wonder if some NCAA football teams might make a "run" if there were a playoff. Guess we'll never know.

Great run by the Cats. Fun to watch those games. Although they deserved a better seed and the "region of death" was unfair to all those teams in it, the regular season does matter. It made the road to North Texas much more difficult and they just fell a bit short.

I'll be that guy.... some REALLY bad calls at a few REALLY bad times.

This one is going to sting for a while.

Incredible run though.

You had to know when UK fouls never capitalize on all those chances to take the lead that they probably didn't have it. Spot on DF. They had UConn on the ropes for the entire middle section of the 2nd half and never got over the hump...

Can't even watch One Shining Moment right now. That one would have been extra sweet. Wanted that for Cal and those guys for all they went through this season.

They were a better team.

A better match up- maybe. Our guards struggled with the ball pressure. UConn is a good team.
