I've heard the same. Apparently there have been numerous similar "events" organized via social media. Who in the world comes up with crap like that?

 

This kind of thing happened a couple years ago at opening day of the Wisconsin State Fair.

I have no problem with curfews on minors. I don't think you can do it to adults.

One of my daughter's roommates got mugged in downtown Louisville 2 years ago. Lucky for her she had her football-player boyfriend with her. They got her purse but he put up such a fight that they eventually scattered.

 

Louisville PD was there a few minutes later; said they had this happen several times but never could catch the perps. Most in their young teens, I believe.

To take a different angle on this I'd be curious to know hypothetically if the parents of teens perpetrating these crimes were required to share a portion of the sentence in the clink ( i.e. your kid gets 10 years and you serve 25% of it as well ). Do absentee parents get back in the game?

 

And yes I'm a huge advocate for concealed carry….Mrs. CWB needs a piece in her car! Or UofL needs to get onboard with a campus "Guardian Angel" policy providing escorts to cars/class/dorms if requested, whatever the case may be. These thugs felt entitled enough to ride rough shot over their path that night without any concern for repercussions. The entire metropolitan Louisville region needs to take a good look at how this happened and why.

 

Back to the parents getting back to parenting. Your kids impose their will on others freedoms…you're on the hook for their misbehavior.

My blood pressure skyrockets when I see this kind of garbage. 5 kids in the car being hit by rocks thrown by these low life scum bags. When the garbage can was thrown I'd have gotten out of there. If they stayed in the way of the car it would have been their problem.

Senator Feinstein, Vice President Biden, President Obama, when you ask do I need guns whose magazines hold more than ten rounds........I would say the answer is yes. Thank you.

What can you do to stop this sort of thing? I don't mean individuals carrying, I'm talking about on a bigger scale what can be done. The police would have to catch them in the act of committing a crime, if they tried to break up large crowds of roaming teenagers every one would scream about their rights being violated. So what can be done to stop this type of behavior?
