Arkansas 71 Kentucky 67

I know they won't get it but this is an 8 or 9 seed flawed team.

They'll get a 5 or 6, then have to play a 3 or 4 in Round 2. Providing there is a Round 2.

I actually missed Jimmy Dykes last night. Wow, I just said it.
How'd that taste?

"Over the years MJAlltheWay24 got to be quite a connoisseur of soap."

They led the Wildcats to a first round loss in the NIT last year. You are not going to win with those two seeing a lot of playing time!!

Knight was horrible. How many times did he miss the action or calls on the court? At least five, maybe more.

That was because he was to busy laughing off camera. :lol2:

They will definitely play in the 2nd round.

I hope the twins get drafted.

So this is going to be the 2nd straight 10 loss season for Cal at Kentucky....How many more is he allowed before the fans are out with the pitchforks?

I don't think the players listen to the coaches half the time. James Young went to the bench one time and Kenny Payne was telling him something and he just looked the other way and payed no attention. Cal said after one time out they looked over to see what to run and he had just told them in the timeout what to run. They are a hard headed bunch out for themselves and he can't make them drink the team water.

They will definitely play in the 2nd round.

Right on the technicality! By the way, I hate how the Round of 64 is referred to as the 2nd round.

Which is typically going to be the case with 1 and done type's. These kids have played so much street ball, I mean AAU ball that team is really foreign to them.

With that said, they showed a lot more heart and grit last night, just didn't finish the deal. To me last night was your typical play your butt off until you get the lead, and then have a let down once you get the lead and forget how you got there.

I also think with foul shooting and this bunch, their youth comes out... when they are going in we are fine mentally... when guys start missing FT's it becomes mental for all them... they over think the situation.

Read a link that Wireman tweeted (I don't have the link right now) that said Cal wants the players to sub themselves out when they are tired and that Randle should have subbed himself out last night. Randle played 40 minutes last night, Andrew 39, and Aaron 38. No Arkansas player was over 32 minutes. Shouldn't the coach be responsible for subbing players out?

They will definitely play in the 2nd round.

YIPPY!!!!

At least we'll make it that far.

Better than last year.

I've learned to tone down my expectations since last 2012, lol.

Yeah, I don't get the bolded if true. I thought Calipari was a "coach". Just like last year, some of this is on Calipari.

As an outside observer it seems sometimes Cal tries to be almost too innovative and needs to fall back on some old school coaching ideas. The guy has not won everything that he has without being able to coach.
