January 10, 201412 yr Was driving into Louisville this morning listening to the show on 680 when I could finally pick it up, guessing their station is about 3 watts but anyway. I heard about 10 call ins, so a small sample, one was an obvious UK fan and sounded a bit off his rocker so I will throw him out. Of the 8 or 9 others there seemed to be a split on liking it and hating it. The buzz around our office in Louisville among the UL fans was he's a scum bag but can coach so whatever. #winninghealsall

Petrino is going to be at Louisville for the next four years. Because of his resume and his contract, he isn't going anywhere. In fact, I ask this question. He certainly controls his destiny there.

Because anyone who would be affiliated with a school like that would most certainly been in a moral checkmark here. Unless of course they don't mind being blatant hypocrites. I can't believe I am defending this religiously affiliated school but this comment sounds like it is making the assumption that being a winning coach and being a role model are mutually exclusive or at the least, two qualities difficult to find together. If this school believed it was possible to find another coach who could win and be a role model who would do things the right way, I don't think the school would be a hypocrite. Now, after all is said and done, after one season it appears the coach they hired didn't quite meet the win criteria as they had expected. I have no idea if he is a role model.
