Don't let the turnstiles hit you on the way out. :lol2: Hey Xtiger' date=' does your son have season tickets? Is he selling them? I'll give you my number...[/quote']

You aren't on the field with Tom... ? Guess I fell for that one..

Was Petrino's OC at Arkansas prior to taking the UAB job. Has not done well at UAB as the lead man.

Petrino calls the plays but the hope obviously is that McGee is a recruiter and player developer.

I'm sure they are fine. They still have millions to blow and beautiful woman on their side to blow it with. Just read that Tiger passed the 1 Billion earnings mark.

I'm sure they are but I'm also sure they would like those hundreds of millions also.

The suite is much more comfortable, especially in October and November...

I still don't understand what world we are living in where winning isn't what is expected to be the only thing that matters from D-1 football coaches. I need everybody to list what schools you cheer for in D-1 football so I can see these role models of good character that don't win that you root for.

The only thing that matters??? A whole different level of disgust but would you have been ok if Paterno had lived and been kept as coach at PA St? He won. I'm assuming not so where exactly does that put your winning is the only thing that matters idea? What level will you accept?

For the record I'm ok with UL hiring Petrino, I just didn't want my alma mater to hold on to him.

Buh-Bye.

Lots of people will be looking to buy tickets next year with that schedule. Happy to know a couple more will be made available.

A boycott over a coaching hire? Who's your son, Red McCombs?

UL athletic dept. = moral cess pool they are going to have a lot of tickets available. If you believe he is a changed man or Jurich made a great hire then you believe Chane Behanen's championship ring was "stolen form his home" and put on ebay!

Brother you must be the only UL fan not under the spell, watch out they are gonna label you Robin Tiger.

Chane is a changed man.

I am told he won't be introduced at the game...I guess we'll see. He is scheduled to be there.

Do you think that Jurich is worried about the type of reception that Petrino might receive if he is introduced at the basketball game?

Chane is a changed man.

Bobby and Rickey are too! Second/3rd/4th chance University

For those that don't think Petrino can recruit. Jody Demling just tweeted what I mentioned in the other thread yesterday. 11 of the guys in Petrino's first two recruiting classes at UofL ended up in the NFL, and several are still playing.

That was before he had all of his character flaws. Not saying Bobby P's not going to get recruits, but I doubt he is able to recruit at his highest levels (like in the past). Hard to sit in that living room with mom and pop talking about morals and character and how he's going to build their son into a fine young man. Tough sale that one. If his pitch is come score some touchdowns and not worry about morals, me turning my back and walking out in a couple of years, and all that other stuff he may do alright. No way he can look a kid or parent in the eye and preach character and things of that nature though, I think it will cost him. He'll still get some guys and UL will still be very competitive but to think he's just going to pick up where he left off and be a recruiting ace is a little naive.

Except he's not a UL fan... :lol2:
