At this point, it's pretty clear to me he's not staying. If he were, why the hold out?

Not sure why you would want Miami over Texas. Plus I believe Munchak is a PSU guy and with Tennessee firing him Penn may go after him.

He is not waiting. It's done and he is gone. Now time to hire the next one

He very well could be.

It obviously would never happen because of the $$$, but it would be kind of awesome if UofL went the screw you route ant up and fired him.

If bringing Coach Hurtt with him is a priority he would not be interested in the Miami job.

Looks like if Charlie does go Texas will decide who his staff is. Rumor Ohio State OC will be the OC at Texas

 

Why would any coach take a job where he can't pick his own coaching staff?
