Congrats to one of the all time greatest. Coach Mueller leaves behind a tremendous legacy.

 

I hope he enjoys his retirement to the fullest. I'd like to go bluegill fishing with him some time.

I kind of had a sense that this was going to happen. The annual Varsity Head Coach talk after the FTJFL All Star game was performed by Asst Head Coach Brian Weinrich while Dale stood close by. I guess that should of been the writing on the wall.

Congrats Coach Dale. What a FINE job you did teaching all those young men the game of FOOTBALL and LIFE. I honestly don't think your shoes will ever be totally filled.

He is up there with the greatest head coaches in KY history. Congratulations to him on an incredible coaching career.

No because the 20 years outweighs those 3 days......Wouldn't you love to have that problem?

I stated many times during the year that I thought he coached like this was his last year. Do not want to rain on the parade so I will keep those comments to myself. Wish him all the best in his retirement and now he can enjoy those grandkids and get on with some mission work which I know is a passion that he has.

Congratulations Coach Mueller, you set the bar high and you ARE the GOLD STANDARD in coaching. Good luck in all that is to come.

I told Mr. lawildcat that I had a feeling he would be stepping down after this loss. Can't blame him! It's been a great run but Coach is approaching 60 and it's time to relax with those grandbabies now! I wish him nothing but the best!
