I always wondered what he would be able to do with the talent of a GCL team. Mueller is truly one of the greatest high school football coaches that the state has ever seen. Coach if you are reading this, congrats on your retirement.

11. Simply read the Cincinnati Enquirer for the retirement recap. He told the HHS Administration a year ago this was his last year as football coach. He needs one more year in the system for full retirement. Now maybe they will schedule Trinity!

Highlands has lost a Great Coach. I do not know Coach Mueller, but his teams teams and records speak volumes. He said he didn't have the energy to keep going at the level that is required. But it was his extremely high level that makes it so hard to achieve. What stands out to me more about this man is that I know he is competitive and am sure he would have liked to go out with a win, but he had already given his word to his family that this year was it. He kept his word. That's really admirable. Congratulations Coach Mueller - Hope you have a great retirement!

The one thing I noticed with Dale coaching is every team he coached alot of kids got playing time. That is a good thing for the kids.

Nope. I like the way he coaches. I love the fact that he was using 10 receivers it makes since. One could be your worst player but if he runs 50 yards down field a corner has to cover him. Just wears the defense down.
