December 5, 201312 yr When I asked A Pendleton County Science Teacher/Weather Wizard what we would get here, this was his response: A whole bunch of mixed crap is what's coming.....temps this afternoon will feel a lot colder but will not be cold enough to support ice/snow....that air will not arrive until tomorrow....travel in the morning will be determined by how rapidly the below freezing air gets here....for us travel between 6-8am will be wet but not ice....Brookville, IN however...icy...our crap arrives tomorrow afternoon....I figure a lot of sleet....then 1-2 in of snow after dark....Sunday will be the worst after Saturday really freezes Sunday.....right now looks like an ice to rain event...could be significant ice...stay indoors on Sunday FWIW, every time I've asked, he's dead on with his forecast.

December 5, 201312 yr Fayette Co. Public Schools had a conference call with the NWS this morning. They advised they planned for an early dismissal on Friday and a snow day on Monday.
