I have been told by a reliable source that this is totally gang related. The kid that pulled the trigger was a juvenile. I also was told that one of the accused was wearing a gang sweatshirt at school last week. The sweatshirt was confiscated and the mother was called about the situation. The mother totally denied that her son was involved in gang activity. Now he is in jail for murder.. Wow!!!

In public, yes I would say so. Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened to avoid a stigma involving gangs in an area. I'm not saying that's definitively what's happening in the COV but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

While there may be gangs in Covington, I'm not buying that this is gang related. For those not close to the situation or those involved, the kids involved (from both sides) all Hung out with eachother.

What you are saying is correct from what I heard about it not being gang related. I talked to a Covington cop, he says they are in a "rap gang of sorts" but it's not really gang related at all. He says it's more so of the middle school or high school belief that you're in this group at school, just because of that, I don't like you. So not really gang related, but correct it has to do with the group they hang out with.

Help me understand. While they were coordinating this plot, did they not also know that the local authorities also have a coordinated plot to find out who is part of said coordinated plot?
