I think Smith needs to start from here out with Whitlow on the field elsewhere and maybe limited action at QB.

Barker tweeted not to fear that nobody is decommiting. Whitlow won the job because they thought his running ability would overshadow his lack of passing ability. While it did in most spots, it wasn't good enough. I start working him at WR and wildcat QB and move Smith to starter and PT as 2nd string. Smith throwing for 125 yards in just a quarter was a glimmer of hope for the offense. While it was very frustrating, I had to keep reminding myself most of the guys out there just went 2-10 last season.
