Western has some new skill position players as well didn't they? Petrino has been scripting this win for weeks. You can't color this stain anything but brown. Not really the most fair comparison. One team had a new coach because the previous staff was gutted. The other team had a new coach because their old coach had took their team to new heights before he got hired away by a bigger school. Taggert obviously left WKU in better shape than Joker left Kentucky.

I remember last year when UK fans thought they could actually be decent, then were absolutely demoralized just like this year. It's just the way it is. And PP, they do reserve the right as long as UL is historically worse, not based on a 2-3 year span.

But you also cannot compare anything Alabama football has done or gone through to anything that UK football will ever go through. Alabama's plan when they hired Nick Saban was to get back to winning national championships and they have the resources and coaching staff to do so. What is UK's goal with Stoops? A first time head coach with an offense that we have absolutely no idea or not if it can work in the SEC. What is the goal?
