Kentucky Recruiting 2015

Featured Replies

Well it worked out well for Kentucky with Alexander, and they got a much better 4 than Bragg this year so...:idunno:

Who is the better 4?? Skal is a 5 at the college level. He may play some 4 but for the most part, he is a 5. Needs to improve several areas of his game to strictly be considered a 4.

While you are right, I wouldn't expect many high level OBC kids to not go Adidas anymore as long as Mike Duncan is running the program.

While that may have some truth in the Bragg situation, Jarron Cumberland just left OBC and Adidas for Nike and King James.

Yep. The panic is laughable. They have the #1 recruit in the country in Skal coming in. They have arguably the best PG in the country in Ulis, they have the #1 PG recruit coming in, they have 2 other McDonald's All-Americans (a senior and a junior no less), and once Mulder commits two 4 star wings coming. Not to mention two guys in Willis and Hawkins who these same fans have been saying for the past 2 years would play at almost anywhere else in the country.

And that's not even taking into consideration the possibilities of Diallo and Murray.

UK fans are just spoiled after last year. People need to realize, that many All-Americans is the exception and won't be the rule.

Also, last year is part of the reason, IMO, that this year's class has been so crazy. Guys don't want to platoon.

Agreed. And quite frankly, I can hardly blame them. I bet most of last year's team probably wouldn't have wanted too had they known going in, which makes them buying in more special to me at least.

UK fans are definitely spoiled and are not use to Cal whiffing on so many elite guys at the end. Probably a little fear of the paradigm shifting meaning you can go anywhere and make the NBA, which by the way you can.

Correct. So now I don't know if he will go to an Adidas program. Duncan would have tried to encourage him to go Adidas.

I think so too.

Are we starting to see the effects of Antiqua leaving?
