Kentucky Recruiting 2015

Featured Replies

Well if he starts we wouldn't have a backup, especially if Alex is at the 3 if we get nobody else who can play a 3.

Also, has Lee hit a field goal in his UK career that isn't a dunk?

Charles Matthews? Derek Willis? Plenty of guys that can play the 3. Really should keep Poy at the 4.

Cats fans have quickly forgetten how good Tyler Ulis is.

Yep. The panic is laughable. They have the #1 recruit in the country in Skal coming in. They have arguably the best PG in the country in Ulis, they have the #1 PG recruit coming in, they have 2 other McDonald's All-Americans (a senior and a junior no less), and once Mulder commits two 4 star wings coming. Not to mention two guys in Willis and Hawkins who these same fans have been saying for the past 2 years would play at almost anywhere else in the country.

And that's not even taking into consideration the possibilities of Diallo and Murray.

If these guys would have committed during the fall UK fans wouldn't even have noticed. Now that they are committing to all these programs after the mass exodus has a lot worried. I for one think Mulder is the most important guy left. He's the shooter that this team needs. Of they don't get Diallo or any of the other guys whatever. Poythress still is here and will do really really well

I've already seen a lot of comments on Twitter about how Cal offering him is bush-league since he committed to NC State already. Why is there such a double standard about it with regards to basketball compared to football? Seems like in football this happens with almost everyone up until they sign on the dotted line. :idunno:

It was not public knowledge that Kirk was committed when Cal offered. He had just gotten home from meeting with NC State when UK called. It wasn't like they saw NC State offered so they decided to as well.

I don't think so. Maybe he can follow in WCS's shoes?

I saw one in this highlight reel.

Here's something to think about for all you clamoring for perimeter help....Seton Hall's leading scorer, 2 guard Sterling Gibbs is transferring. He'll be a graduate transfer which means he's eligible immediately. Averaged 16ppg last season. Also bowed a Nova player in the face and was suspended 2 games.

I also remember a hook shot he hit against Kansas earlier this year. Baby steps...

Takes care of the shooter need that Kentucky had.

Diallo could break at any minute. Sounding like Adidas is going to win out for him....Bummer.

^ Isn't it a huge question mark at this point if he will even qualify?

No clue. I believe GT said there are some issues with him.
