April 24, 201511 yr Another thing that makes Newman different is he don't really pay attention to basketball outside of himself. Not a fan of the NBA or college, up until a couple years ago he wouldn't have been able to tell you who the top college programs were. So to him UK, Kansas and some of these other schools didn't mean as much or have the same appeal as they would have to most kids. To him they were just another place to go and play ball.
