Kentucky Recruiting 2015

4 years into Cal's system and doesn't start? I don't know man I have him pencilled in but I could be wrong.

He may very well start. Just very unlikely it'll be at the 4.

He was the 3 this year before he got injured.

We need to see the final roster because that will impact who starts at 4 and 5, but Alex is the 3, IMO.

The team is better with him as a 4, but out of necessity he's been the 3.

That is true I don't understand why Cal can't get a true 3, hasn't had one since MKG.

See Darius Miller (3 years with Cal). Don't forget Poythress came off the bench after starting his Freshman season. Personally I like having someone like Poythress off the bench for energy purposes. I thought that role suited him better once he begun to figure out things his second season.

Darius was on all all star team, Alex next year will have to beat our Lee and or maybe an unknown mid major transfer.

Jamal Murray is not traveling with his AAU team to Lexington this weekend for EYBL so he will not be visiting,

That kind of sucks, still doesn't mean he won't come to UK but this weekend would have been huge for him.

I think Murray goes to Oregon.

Jamal Murray situation is intriguing. More I learn, more I lean Oregon regardless of class. But like one source said, "Kentucky is Kentucky"

Apparently, even had he came, he wouldn't have been allowed to visit UK. He could have went on his own, but wouldn't have been allowed any contact with any coaches.

Some new rule the NCAA put in recently.

I heard that too @UKMustangFan I will add though...Oregon seems to have an interesting connection to Canadian kids.

Nike kid.. Oregon..

We were beating the tar out of folks with him at the 3 to start this season. I do think the team is effective with him at both positions.

He can't dribble, I think he will excel at the 4 next year personally.

Not according to scouts...

I always think position in terms of who you guard. Alex guards the 3, no? I don't really see him guarding true post players.

Malik's bow tie is straight out of 1973.
