Kentucky Recruiting 2015

Featured Replies

I know he was

Plus Slice was his main recruiter at UK

Slice is good friends with Mullin

Slice is from that area

Slice shouldnt still recruit the kid since he was doing it for UK, but I guess thats how the business works.

Where were Bledsoe and Cousins going before Calipari signed w/ UK?

Bledsoe wasn't academically eligible until he committed to UK...funny how those things work. UC backed off because of his grade issues.

Cousins was going to Memphis had Cal stayed there.

So your saying he would of gone to UC over UK?

Jamal Murray is not traveling with his AAU team to Lexington this weekend for EYBL so he will not be visiting,

That kind of sucks, still doesn't mean he won't come to UK but this weekend would have been huge for him.

I think Murray goes to Oregon.

Jamal Murray situation is intriguing. More I learn, more I lean Oregon regardless of class. But like one source said, "Kentucky is Kentucky"

I think UK strikes out on all of the top guys from here on out, and maybe takes one or two second tier guys.

I agree we are in TROUBLE!!

We will have a strong starting 5 (Ulis, Briscoe, Matthews, Poythress & Labissere) but our bench is really weak!

Lee right now is the backup PF and C isn't he....

I see the front court as Poythress at the 3, Lee at the 4 and Skal at 5. If Matthews starts, he is the 3 with Alex at the 4 and Skal at 5. That is why I said Lee over Matthews even though they play different positions; Poythress and Skal stay on the floor regardless.

Lee will be really good next season. He will definitely start IMO.

Nope.

Simply saying one program backed off because they were going to have issues getting him eligible, yet another was able to get him eligible with no issues...until he left.

And for the record I'm not accusing any program of anything.
