I guess my contention is more there wasn't a recruit they missed on that would've picked Kentucky had Antigua still been there. You think they would've closed one of the 5 stars had he still been on staff?

I think the odds would have been much better had he been the lead recruiter on a few of them. Slice would have been a great long term replacement, but that didn't last long enought to really matter...

Also, now that Coach K and Duke appear to be "all in" on recruiting and signing the one and dones, will we start to see Duke supplant Coach Cal/UK as the program that consistently lands the nation's top recruiting class each year (just like it has been for last year and this year)?

I think the two will always be in the mix as long as K and Cal are at the helms. With my uneducated eyes I think Skal and Ben Simmons are clearly the top of this class and UK got one of them.

It's definitely a legit concern for UK. Surely, Cal won't whiff on everybody next year though. Both will get their pieces of the pie but Coach K is a much better X&O guy.

Jaylen Brown. He's the one I though had the least chance of signing with Kentucky but now at least according to KSR he's down to Kentucky and Michigan. With Michigan being Adidas I guess they would be the front runner but if Kentucky really is in his top 2 that's better than I expected. He would round out the roster perfectly if Cal can reel him in.
